The history of All American Auto Group

All American Ford Point Pleasant is a proud part of the All American Auto Group, the #1 Ford Auto Group on the East Coast. The group was founded in 1997 by two brothers, Jon and Steve Selman. The auto group is owned by the Selmans and the Savino Family, boasting three Ford dealerships in the Top 100 in the U.S.

The Selman brothers were born and raised in Bergen County, NJ and have a passion for the community. They had owned a couple of dealerships before the purchased All American Ford Point Pleasant as their first Ford dealership. They quickly turned it into a perennial giant, holding the #1 position in the New York/New Jersey region for over a decade.

In 2009, the Selman brothers teamed up with Rich Savino, who owned All American Ford & All American Subaru in Old Bridge. These three Ford dealerships were all in the Top 100 Ford Volume in the U.S., making us one of the largest and most successful auto groups in the country. In 2015, the group purchased the Weisleder Dealerships in Ocean County, which became All American Ford in Point Pleasant and All American Mazda in Brick. 

In 2017, the All American Auto Group is handpicked by MOTORTREND(R) to have exclusive rights in New Jersey to their prestigious pre-owned certification program, something only 40 dealerships across the country have access to. MOTORTREND is very selective about only allowing the very best dealerships to use their certification program.

The groups next purchases are both in April 2018. One was purchasing Prestige Lincoln and renaming it Lincoln of Paramus. The second was acquiring Nussbaum Sales Corp. of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Nussbaum was one of the leading Jerr-Dan Tow Truck distributors in the Northeast. From this, All American Jerr-Dan was born with locations in Old Bridge and Paramus. 

In June 2020, our Auto Group sold our Lincoln of Paramus location and then in October 2021, we also sold our Mazda in Brick location. By early 2021, we moved all of our used car centers from the MOTORTREND Certified program to the Blue Advantage Certified program.
